Terms and Conditions
Use of E-NameCard — the website, the E-NameCard mobile application, the digital name cards and NFC cards issued through it, and the services offered through them — is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and LCP Buildsoft Technology Sdn Bhd, which operates E-NameCard. By using E-NameCard, whether as a visitor, as a member, or as an administrator of an organisation's subscription, you accept these Terms and agree to abide by them.
From time to time we may change these Terms and will post revisions on this website and within the mobile application. We recommend that you read these Terms prior to using our services and thereafter review any changes regularly; you are responsible for doing so.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using E-NameCard's website, mobile application, and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by them, please do not use this service, access this website, or download or use our mobile application.
What E-NameCard Provides
E-NameCard is a digital name card platform. A member builds a name card holding their contact details, company details, professional and education background, and social media links, and shares it by link, QR code, or a physical NFC card in place of a paper business card. Members may send one another business card exchange requests, and an organisation may subscribe so that its people hold name cards under the organisation's account. The platform also lets a member see how often their card has been viewed.
Use of Services
E-NameCard grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our services for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree to use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us through our website or mobile application, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times, and you must keep it that way. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password, and you must not share your account credentials with others.
Where your account is created within an organisation's subscription, administrators of that organisation can see and manage your account, and may edit the details on your name card.
Your Name Card And The Information On It
A name card is only useful if it can be opened, so the page your card generates is reachable by anyone who has its link, without signing in. You are responsible for what you place on your card, and you should publish only what you are willing to have seen by strangers and forwarded on to others. Details held for verification or administration — an identity card or passport number, your date of birth, and any postal address recorded for administration — are not displayed on the public page. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what is published and what is not, and you should read it before completing your card.
You must not enter into your card any personal data belonging to another person without that person's consent, and you must not hold yourself out as someone you are not — including by using another person's name, photograph, company, or contact details.
Business Card Exchange And Member Conduct
The exchange of name cards between members is a core part of the service. When you send an exchange request, or accept one, the other member receives the details you have chosen to publish. You agree to use the exchange feature only to connect with people you have a genuine professional reason to connect with, and not to send unsolicited bulk requests, or to use the details you receive for marketing, advertising, or any mailing list, without the consent of the person concerned.
Prohibited Conducts
You agree that you shall not directly or indirectly attempt, or actually disrupt, impair or interfere with, alter or modify E-NameCard's website or mobile application content. You agree that you shall not resell or redistribute E-NameCard's content or any part thereof. In particular, you shall not:
Subscriptions, Fees And Payment
Certain features are offered on a subscription basis, either to an individual member or to an organisation for its people. A subscription runs for the period shown when you take it out. Where a subscription renews automatically you may turn renewal off; where it does not, the service will prompt you to renew. If a subscription is not renewed, the name card associated with it ceases to show the member's real details — the platform substitutes placeholder information — until it is renewed.
Fees are payable in the currency and amount shown at the time of purchase, and are processed by our payment gateway provider, Billplz. Your card or banking details are entered with the payment gateway and are not received or stored by us. Once a subscription period has begun, fees are non-refundable except where we are required by law to refund them, or where we have failed to provide the service. We may change our fees from time to time; a change will not affect a subscription period already paid for.
Identity And Company Verification
To keep the platform trustworthy, we may verify your email address or telephone number with a one-time code, and may verify the identity of a member or the details of a company or organisation. Where verification is required, we may decline, suspend, or remove a name card, account, or organisation subscription that we cannot verify, or that we reasonably believe is being used to misrepresent the person or organisation behind it.

Information on this website and mobile application is provided for information purposes only. Any information obtained from our website or mobile application should be reviewed with appropriate authority to determine its applicability to your needs. Great care has been taken to maintain the accuracy of the information provided on our website and mobile application. However, E-NameCard and its employees are not responsible for errors or any untoward consequences arising from your use of this information.
E-NameCard is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, any dealings between members or between a member and an organisation — including the accuracy of any name card, the identity of any member, or the outcome of any introduction or business relationship formed through the platform.
Service Availability
We strive to provide continuous service availability, but we do not guarantee that our website, mobile application, or services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services, including the mobile application, at any time without prior notice. Mobile application updates may be required for continued use.
Intellectual Property
The E-NameCard platform — its website and mobile application, and their contents, including the software, design, layout, text, graphics, images, logos, and the name "E-NameCard" (together, the "platform") — is owned by or licensed to LCP Buildsoft Technology Sdn Bhd and is protected by Malaysian and international intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, and unless prior written consent or a written licence has been obtained, no part of the platform may be copied or otherwise reproduced, repackaged, further transmitted, transferred, disseminated, redistributed, or resold, or stored for subsequent use, in whole or in part and in any form, by any person by any means (electronic, mechanical, or by photocopying), as all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
You acknowledge and agree that all content, photos, and materials available on the platform are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as expressly authorised by E-NameCard, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from such materials or content.
This does not apply to your own content. The details, photographs, and files you put on your own name card remain yours. By publishing them on your card, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display them — and to make them available to anyone who opens your card, or to whom you send it — for as long as your card is published. That licence ends when you remove the content or your card, except for copies already made by others, and except as we are required to retain records.
Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand what we collect, what is published on your card, and the rights you have under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Site Terms of Use Modifications
E-NameCard may revise these terms of use for its website and mobile application at any time without notice. By using our website or mobile application, users agree to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use. Your continued use of the services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms. We may notify you of significant changes through the mobile application or via email.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, E-NameCard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the website, mobile application, or services.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless E-NameCard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the website, mobile application, or services, the content you publish on your name card, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the website, mobile application, and services immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Where we do so for a breach, fees already paid are not refunded. Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease, your name card will no longer be served, and you must uninstall the mobile application from your device. You may also close your own account and remove your card at any time; our Privacy Policy explains what then happens to your data.
Disclaimer
The materials on E-NameCard's website and mobile application are provided "as is". E-NameCard makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation implied warranties or conditions of commerciality (of text, data, graphics, images, layout, photographs, sounds, animations, music, and videos), fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. E-NameCard does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or mobile application, or otherwise relating to such materials, or on any sites or applications linked to our services.
Governing Law
These Terms, and any claim relating to E-NameCard's website and mobile application, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia shall have jurisdiction over any such claim.
